Bills RB Ty Johnson may be fined for his touchdown celebration vs. the Buccaneers. The NFL previously fined Detroit's Jameson Williams for a similar gesture after a score, putting Johnson at risk of a penalty.

Ty Johnson, a running back for the Buffalo Bills, may face a fine from the NFL for his dubious celebration following a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Josh Allen outperformed Baker Mayfield as the Bills defeated the Buccaneers 44-32 on Sunday, winning a classic at Highmark Stadium. In addition to rushing into the end zone for three scores, Allen passed for 317 yards and three touchdowns.
The Buffalo signal caller has earned the bragging rights for this season, despite Allen and Mayfield exchanging humorous jabs before the game. Although the game was exciting, Johnson might be disciplined for his end-zone gesture.
With 36 seconds left in the second quarter, Johnson scored a 52-yard touchdown to put the Bills ahead 21–20 at the half. It surpassed the 41-yard touchdown he scored against the Los Angeles Rams in 2024 to become the longest score in his NFL career.
The Bills' rushing back thrust the ground and lay on his front in the end zone as a way to celebrate. Jameson Williams, a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, was fined by the NFL for making a similar gesture against the Washington Commanders in January.
For his unsportsmanlike behaviour, Williams received a $25,325 fine, and Johnson can get a similar penalty. Johnson is on less generous terms, while Williams has now agreed to a three-year, $83 million agreement with a $67 million guarantee.
Only $1.49 million of the $5 million contract Johnson signed with the Bills in March is guaranteed. Since the NFL usually imposes fines for rule infractions once a week, Johnson will have to wait anxiously to find out if he will be disciplined.
Still, with 61 receptions, yards, and a score, Johnson had an outstanding game for the Bills. After losing to the Miami Dolphins 30–13 in Week 10, Buffalo had the ideal reaction.
Last week, a heartbroken Allen accepted full responsibility and promised to improve his offensive performance. The quarterback from Buffalo fulfilled his promise and demonstrated to the world why he is the current NFL MVP.
Despite Allen's two interceptions during the game, the Buccaneers fell to 6-4 and the Bills rose to 7-3. Buffalo is trying to regain its early-season form and contend for the Super Bowl after starting the season 4-0.
Between 1991 and 1994, the Bills made four consecutive visits to the Super Bowl, although they have yet to win one. The Bills are, predictably, the only team to have been in four consecutive Super Bowls without taking home a trophy.
The New England Patriots are now putting pressure on Buffalo in the AFC East division, although Allen appeared in a Super Bowl parade prior to the season. "The parade is visible to me. "I sense it," Allen remarked.
"It was five degrees, windy, rolling down, and I could hear the bus rolling over the ice and salt." Downtown Buffalo was packed with tens of thousands of fans. Up on the steps at City Hall, I can see where we are heading. I see everything. Therefore, we must make it a reality.

In Week 11, the Houston Texans will play the Tennessee Titans. But something more important happened on Sunday morning. Kris Boyd, a former cornerback and special teams star for the Texans, was shot in New York. His status is stable but critical.
Although specifics are still being worked out, initial reports indicate that it happened at approximately two in the morning ET.
Boyd is currently with the New York Jets.
Former Texans' defensive back Kris Boyd was shot in New York and is in critical condition at the hospital.
On November 16, Joe Marino, Jorge Fitz-Gibbon, and Kirsten Fleming of the New York Post reported that Boyd, who played for the Texans for a portion of the 2023 and 2024 seasons, had been "shot in the abdomen."
On West 38th Street, the incident happened close to Seventh Avenue. Two shots were fired by the gunmen as a fight descended into violence outside the Sei Less eatery.
Authorities on the scene reported that witnesses were "uncooperative."
According to The Post, a "high-end silver Mercedes-Benz Maybach" fled the scene after the alleged gunman "flew the scene in a BMW X." There was also a third car parked at the scene: the Rhino GX, "a luxury armoured SUV" that can cost up to $300,000.
Before being sent to the hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition, "Boyd fell in and out of consciousness," the Post's three writers said.
"Police stated that the incident is being investigated and that no arrests have been made."
The Jets "are aware of the situation concerning Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time," an unnamed Jets representative informed the New York Post and other media outlets looking for comment on the matter.
Following their "Thursday Night Football" loss to the New England Patriots, the Jets were not in play on Sunday.
Boyd has not played this season due to a shoulder injury that has placed him on injured reserve.
The Texans' coach was pushed by Kris Boyd.
After being taken by the Minnesota Vikings with the 217th overall choice in the sixth round of the draft, Boyd finally found his way to the Texans in free agency during the 2023 season.
The veteran has previously played for the Arizona Cardinals.
During his time with the Texans, Boyd created a sensation. He assaulted special teams coordinator Frank Ross when he approached the sidelines during a game. Ross remains a member of the team.
During the Divisional Playoffs, Boyd forced a fumble on the first kick against the Kansas City Chiefs. He rushed to the Texans' sideline, tore off his helmet, and almost knocked Ross down.
Boyd was called for "unsportsmanlike behaviour" because of his helmet, and the Chiefs recovered.
According to ESPN and the Associated Press in January, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters, "I do not think he was disrespectfully pushing Frank." "I believe that he was quite energised and believed he made a move to assist us. Therefore, the claim that he is shoving a coach is untrue.
Later, Boyd acknowledged that he was "too heated up" about the play. He then expressed regret for the shove to Ross.
BUCKS’ DEFEAT SPARKS VIRAL GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO MOMENT ONLINE

Following the Lakers' victory over the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo got the game ball for youngster Adou Thiero.
Things did not go well for the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated them 119-95. Superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, however, showed that he is a class act after the game with a touching gesture.
Antetokounmpo extended his scorching hot start to the season by scoring 32 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and handing out five assists in this game, despite the Bucks' defeat. However, it was his post-game activities that garnered the most fan attention, largely due to a video that went viral on social media.
Giannis Antetokounmpo's Endearing Motion Following the Bucks' Loss to the Lakers
Antetokounmpo has been the focus of conjecture about his future with the Bucks for a large portion of the previous few years. Some people think that this might be his last season in Milwaukee after he made a few cryptic remarks prior to the season beginning, which only served to fan the flames.
However, those intentions could be altered by the Bucks' early success. They have an 8-6 record through 14 games, and despite their recent loss to the Lakers, there are indications that this squad could be a serious competitor in the Eastern Conference. Despite all of the rumours surrounding him, Antetokounmpo is playing some of his finest basketball. He is shooting 63% from the field and averaging 32.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.
On Saturday, however, the Bucks were unable to keep up with the Lakers, and as a result, the benches were wiped out in the fourth quarter. When second-round rookie Adou Thiero made his NBA debut for Los Angeles, he ended up scoring his first points. Referees, however, forbade his Lakers colleagues from giving him the game ball as a present after the game. When Antetokounmpo intervened and assumed command of the situation, that changed.
After the final buzzer sounded, the team posted on X, saying, "Giannis secured the game ball for Lakers rookie Adou Thiero after scoring his first NBA points."
The Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo are trying to get past their ugly loss.
It is unclear why the authorities refused to allow the Lakers to keep the ball, but it appeared Thiero would not receive a souvenir of his NBA debut. After noticing what was happening, Antetokounmpo managed to locate the ball, take it, and promptly give it to Los Angeles so that Thiero could get it.
It was touching to watch Antetokounmpo step in and make sure Thiero got this ball because some things are greater than basketball. However, Milwaukee needs to work on a few things on the court if it wants to start winning again. When the Bucks play again on Monday night, they will face the Cleveland Cavaliers, who will be a formidable opponent.
