Rhea Ripley gives an update on her broken nose, confirming she will wear a specially designed protective mask during the Survivor Series WarGames match.

Will She Fight? Rhea Ripley Nose Update Ahead Of WarGames
Rhea Ripley Gives Nose Injury Update

Rhea Ripley, a former Women’s World Champion, broke her nose during a WWE tour in Japan last month. After a couple of weeks off, she came back on the November 10, 2025, episode of WWE RAW. People noticed she was wearing a mask, meaning her nose wasn't completely better.

Ripley is teaming up with IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee to face Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Becky Lynch in a WarGames match at Survivor Series this Saturday.

Before the match, Ripley was on Raw Recap and said she’ll be wearing the mask during WarGames since her nose is still healing. She also mentioned she’s going to add some personal touches to make it special for Survivor Series.

“I will have to wear it during this WarGames match, and I will probably have it on the entire time unless someone takes it off forcefully. My nose is somewhat healed, but it’s not fully healed, so I will be wearing [the mask]. But I will also be doing it up, just like I did last year, so I can’t wait to show everyone exactly what my mask looks like.”

CM Punk Thinks Rhea Ripley Is One of WWE’s Best

In a recent WWE Vlog, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk said that IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley are the best wrestlers in WWE right now.

“IYO SKY is consistently, I think, the best wrestler that we have,” CM Punk said. “Rhea is probably a close second, but you talk about a superstar. And I don’t think it’s a secret that I was one of Rhea’s favourites when she was a kid growing up, and it’s kind of no different than the fan that says, “I’m sober because of you,” or “I waited 19 years to see you.” Like, I want to give back because I’m so full of gratitude. Those two are the future.”

Lynch, Rollins Fan Story Will Break Your Heart

Since turning to the dark side, Becky Lynch has become a top villain in WWE. Even though he's been out with an injury, Seth Rollins was also disliked when he led The Vision and pulled off what some called The Ruse of the Century to grab the World Heavyweight Title.

Usually, it's understood that wrestling fans boo the bad guys, and their families know it's all part of the act. But it seems Rollins and Lynch's daughter, Roux, doesn't quite get it. She gets upset when fans boo her parents.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins Talk About Roux's Reaction to Fans Booing Them

The couple recently appeared on Something's Burning. Host Bert Kreischer asked them how tough it is to explain to their 5-year-old that they're just playing characters on TV.

Becky Lynch remembered a Money In The Bank event a few years back when Roux saw her perform live for the first time. Lynch said that while her daughter was okay with her being a mean character, she got really upset when the crowd started chanting, "Becky sucks." Lynch said Roux was so sad that she started crying, and Lynch still struggles to explain to her why fans dislike her character.

Seth Rollins added that Roux asked him why people hated her mom at the same event. He had just finished his match and went straight to the bus to see his daughter. He also mentioned watching a recent episode of RAW with Roux, where she asked if fans liked her mom again. He had to explain that it was Lynch’s job to be the bad guy.

Here's what they said:

“[Becky Lynch]: Oh gosh, we’ve been trying to do that. She was very upset. She went to sit in the front row, the first time she’d ever watched the show. She’d been starting to get into wrestling music, less so the actual wrestling part. So she was sitting in the front row. She had watched the women’s ladder match, and she loved it. And then I came out, and now I’m the heel and the bad guy. She was okay with me being mean. She was okay with me getting beaten up. But when the crowd started chanting, ‘Becky sucks,’ she could not take it. She was like, ‘My mama doesn’t suck. Why are they saying Mama sucks?’ And then she burst into tears and had to come back. I was trying to explain to her that it’s me doing my job. It means I’m good at my job. I want them to say Becky sucks. She said, ‘But you don’t suck.’ She still doesn’t get it. Every now and again, she’ll ask, ‘Why were they saying Mama sucks?’

[Seth Rollins]: Yeah, it was Money in the Bank, and I had just come back from my ladder match. I was miserable. I was so angry, and I went to the bus to see my kid because I went straight from the ring to the bus. I was so mad. I saw my daughter, and I was so happy to see her. She takes me out of that for a minute. Then she said, ‘Why were they saying Mama sucks? Why were they saying, ‘Mama sucks’? We even watched her on Monday, a couple of weeks ago. She was wrestling, and we were watching on TV, and she asked, ‘Did they like Mama?’ I said, ‘No, no, baby, they have to boo her. That’s Mama doing her job.’ She gets so upset about it.” (1:09:02–1:02:19)

Even though they're known as villains, hopefully, this story will make fans see Lynch and Rollins in a new light.

NXT GOLD RUSH: JOHN CENA REVEALS IRON SURVIVOR LINEUP

John Cena Announces Iron Survivor Challenge Stars

Last week, NXT General Manager Ava said that John Cena would be picking the wrestlers for the Iron Survivor Challenges at NXT Deadline 2025. He picked five men and five women to go head-to-head in the tough match where every second makes a difference.

The Iron Survivor Challenge is an NXT Deadline special. It's a five-person match where a wrestler tries to get the most falls before the 25-minute timer runs out. The prize? A future shot at the NXT Championship or NXT Women’s Championship.

The Guys Picked

John Cena had his eye on who could be big in the future. Of course, he chose Je’Von Evans and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater. The TNA’s Youngest in Charge is set to make history again by competing in this match. Cena then said he’s picked Joe Hendry, who he sees as the definition of a Self-Made Superstar. Cena is a Joe Hendry fan.

Next up, from the DarkState faction, is Dion Lennox. Cena thinks he’s earned this chance to show what he can do. The last spot depended on the Trick Williams versus Myles Borne match. Borne won, meaning he’s in the Iron Survivor Challenge.

The Women Picked

On Tuesday night, John Cena needed to choose five women from a division full of talent, saying he picked talents who showed much to the division. First up was Sol Ruca, for her skill and creative moves. Lola Vice has been asking for a shot, and Cena gave it to her.

Kelani Jordan calls herself the Standout and the Standard, and she’ll need to prove it at NXT Deadline. Cena values strength because it takes time, hard work, and bouncing back from losses.

So, it wasn't a shock he picked Jordynne Grace, who is amazing. Cena’s last pick is Kendal Grey, who he says has what it takes to do great things in WWE.

NXT Deadline is happening on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Boeing Centre at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
