FAREWELL TOUR: NIKKI BELLA CONFIRMS RETIREMENT IS LOOMING SOON
WWE star Nikki Bella has announced her current run will be her "last and final." The former Women's Champion hopes to eventually reunite with twin sister Brie to properly conclude their historic careers together in the ring.
Nikki Bella recently shared her plans, hinting that her wrestling career might be winding down.
Bella returned to WWE in early 2025 at the Women’s Royal Rumble. After some time away, she came back and has been on RAW. Based on her recent comments, it seems her time in wrestling is nearing its end.
In an interview, Bella said she’s doing okay on her own while her twin sister, Brie, isn’t around. She mentioned that this run is likely her last, and she hopes to finish it with Brie by her side.
“It’s tough,” Bella said. It’s great, and I’ve had solo runs. When you’re a twin, you’re used to doing stuff together, so it feels good to do things on your own. But I think I know that, however long this lasts—a year, two years—it’ll be my final one. I don't want to say never, but I am being realistic. I started with her, and I want to end with her. I know everyone wants it, and I think it would be really cool for the fans. Especially when you turn my heel. I am only super bad when I get sidekicks. But yeah, it’s hard, and I hope I get to end it with her.”
Bella also talked about a potential change to her body.
She’s considering getting new breast implants.
In the same interview, Bella discussed why she previously decided to reduce her breast size. Now, she’s thinking about going bigger.
“I did an MRI, and they said everything looked good,” Bella said. Then they said there was a bit of a shift, which made sense because when I had them redone a few years ago—since they say to stay healthy and do it every ten years—my pec muscle was holding in a broken one. It was wild.”
“I think I was just tired then,” she added. I wanted to go a size smaller since I’m a mom now. But now, I want to go bigger. So, I have the perfect reason. When the time is right, I’m going to get it fixed.”
Bella last teamed up with Stephanie Vaquer against Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, with Perez and Rodriguez winning. Since then, she turned on the WWE Women’s World Champion and will challenge her for the title at next week’s Survivor Series: WarGames.
WWE CHAMP CODY RHODES SAYS STREET FIGHTER ROLE IMPROVED HIM AS A WRESTLER NOW
Cody Rhodes reveals how his role as Guile in the 2026 'Street Fighter' movie improved his WWE performances. The Undisputed WWE Champion did his own stunts and learned from the film's actors.
Cody Rhodes is usually in the wrestling ring, but next year, The American Nightmare is heading to the big screen in a Street Fighter live-action movie as Guile. On Bertcast, Rhodes chatted about being on set, saying it helped him get better in the ring, too.
The 'Street Fighter' cast—Andrew Koji, who plays Ryu; Noah Centineo as Ken; and Callina Liang as Chun-Li, the main characters—were there early. They were checking everything out, breaking down the scenes. It's a fun action comedy, but they took it seriously, Rhodes said. When the rest of us got there, 50 Cent was Balrog, and Andrew Schulz was amazing as Dan Hibiki, who is the joke character in Street Fighter.
All of us show up—me and Roman Reigns, all coming from other places, big shots in our own fields. But the director had us sit down and watch some of the movie they had already put together. I felt like I was on a Little League team. Kitao [Sakurai], the director, felt like my coach. They were like, 'Hey, check out what we've got after three weeks. Step it up.' And I felt ready to go. Rhodes said seeing the other Street Fighter actors made him better as a wrestler when he got back to WWE. He says it was because they were great at telling stories.
When he came back on the September 12 WWE SmackDown, Rhodes asked Drew McIntyre to fight him at Wrestlepalooza. He beat The Scottish Warrior there and at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. Both times, they were fighting for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Rhodes Talks About Intense Fight Scenes
Like someone said before, Rhodes did most of his own stunts as Guile in Street Fighter, but they had stunt people there to film extra shots, just in case. For the fights, Rhodes was on wires, but he said they were still wild.
The fights—JV was the stunt coordinator—started feeling real. "It was intense," Rhodes said. Up, then again, and again. It was crazy.
... I had never been on wires. Wrestlers are going to think, 'Oh, he can do all this.' Then you're like, 'Maybe not.' But I wanted to try Guile's flash kick if it was in the movie. I watched [Jean-Claude] Van Damme do it in the old 'Street Fighter.' Van Damme didn't use wires because he was so good. I wanted to do the flash kick—full rotation—but I had never done wires before. The whole thing was unique.
On his days off, Rhodes went sightseeing, including a big scene with a bunch of Street Fighter characters in the middle of the movie. Even though he knew it was fake, Rhodes said it felt real.
Street Fighter is hitting theatres on October 16, 2026. Rhodes is joined by Roman Reigns as Akuma and Hirooki Goto as E. Honda.
DOMINIK MYSTERIO CLAIMS SUPREMACY OVER FATHER'S ENTIRE WRESTLING LEGACY
WWE's Dominik Mysterio declares himself "the greatest Luchador in history." The AAA Mega Champion boasted about surpassing his father Rey's accomplishments and criticised him as a "deadbeat dad."
Dominik Mysterio considers himself the supreme luchador.
In an interview with actor Nick Turturro on Delivering Happiness, WWE Superstar and current AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio expressed confidence in his own excellence.
During the conversation, he explained the essence of Luchador culture to Turturro and, in line with his character, asserted that he reigns as the King and the finest Luchador in history.
“Dating back to the forties and fifties, countless wrestlers have emerged, but among them all, I stand as the King, the greatest!”
“I’ve only been involved for five years, right? There’s a Mexican wrestling promotion known as AAA. I went there and made a significant impact; I’m their leading champion, and the company has achieved unprecedented success thanks to me.”
Additionally, Dominik took a jab at Rey Mysterio, boasting that he has surpassed his ‘alleged’ father’s accomplishments in just five years.
“Currently, I’m the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion—though I just realised I lost the title—having held it for over 200 days. So, in a time frame less than ten years, I’ve achieved what my father—I’m not sure which one—took over twenty years to do.”
Dominik Mysterio Disoriented an ESPN Host While Criticising His 'Deadbeat Dad'
Dominik Mysterio doesn’t miss a chance to disparage his father, Rey Mysterio, and did so again during his appearance on ESPN First Take.
He maintained his character throughout the talk, impressing co-host Shae Cornette, who appeared taken aback when Dominik labelled his father a deadbeat.
“I’m not typically a fan of confronting my father, mainly because he exploits our relationship as parent and child,” Dominik claimed. “He uses our bond in ways that are inappropriate for a father, which is why I view him as the deadbeat he is. Just look at this (gestures to the screen). Who would kick their child like this? Someone should have called the police. That's abuse.”
