WWE's Dominik Mysterio declares himself "the greatest Luchador in history." The AAA Mega Champion boasted about surpassing his father Rey's accomplishments and criticised him as a "deadbeat dad."

Dominik Mysterio considers himself the supreme luchador.

In an interview with actor Nick Turturro on Delivering Happiness, WWE Superstar and current AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio expressed confidence in his own excellence.

During the conversation, he explained the essence of Luchador culture to Turturro and, in line with his character, asserted that he reigns as the King and the finest Luchador in history.

“Dating back to the forties and fifties, countless wrestlers have emerged, but among them all, I stand as the King, the greatest!”

“I’ve only been involved for five years, right? There’s a Mexican wrestling promotion known as AAA. I went there and made a significant impact; I’m their leading champion, and the company has achieved unprecedented success thanks to me.”

Additionally, Dominik took a jab at Rey Mysterio, boasting that he has surpassed his ‘alleged’ father’s accomplishments in just five years.

“Currently, I’m the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion—though I just realised I lost the title—having held it for over 200 days. So, in a time frame less than ten years, I’ve achieved what my father—I’m not sure which one—took over twenty years to do.”

Dominik Mysterio Disoriented an ESPN Host While Criticising His 'Deadbeat Dad'

Dominik Mysterio doesn’t miss a chance to disparage his father, Rey Mysterio, and did so again during his appearance on ESPN First Take.

He maintained his character throughout the talk, impressing co-host Shae Cornette, who appeared taken aback when Dominik labelled his father a deadbeat.

“I’m not typically a fan of confronting my father, mainly because he exploits our relationship as parent and child,” Dominik claimed. “He uses our bond in ways that are inappropriate for a father, which is why I view him as the deadbeat he is. Just look at this (gestures to the screen). Who would kick their child like this? Someone should have called the police. That's abuse.”

'TOO MANY HURT': CM PUNK REJECTS WRITING BOOK ABOUT CONTROVERSIAL CAREER

CM Punk reveals he will never write a memoir, fearing it would hurt too many people. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion also discussed his wife's book-writing process and his upcoming WarGames match.

CM Punk Has No Intention Of Writing A Book Ever Said

When you look into CM Punk's eyes, what do you observe? The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion has no intention of documenting his legacy. Indeed, you read that correctly. In a discussion with "Mostly Sports," the seasoned wrestler revealed that he hasn't contemplated the notion, nor does he plan to pen a memoir about his experiences. He shared his thoughts on the matter.

"I believe too many people would be unnecessarily hurt by it," "The Best in the World" stated. "I witnessed my wife painstakingly work on her book, and it didn't seem enjoyable. She put in immense effort, and it makes me realise that I would need to dedicate all my energy to something like that."

Punk's journey in professional wrestling has always been a well-known tale. His departure from WWE in 2014 was marked by escalating and misdiagnosed health problems, as well as general dissatisfaction. This made his emotional return to the sport via AEW in 2021 particularly poignant, followed by a controversial exit two years later. Though his story has often been shared through conversation, it has yet to be documented in writing. As he prepares for his next chapter, Punk is gearing up for a clash with several beloved wrestlers, including reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey), and "The OTC" Roman Reigns, facing off against The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed), Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and the returning Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series: WarGames next Saturday in San Diego, California. If Punk secures a victory, it will mark his second win in this distinctive match format.

ALEXA BLISS DEFENDS HER SUPERNATURAL APPEARANCE

Alexa Bliss claps back at online critics who claimed she looked "aged," citing a gruelling WWE schedule and being a "full-time mom" as reasons for her changed appearance on Raw.

Bliss Slams "Disrespectful" Fans On Social

Alexa Bliss made her WWE comeback earlier this year, making an appearance during the yearly Royal Rumble. She made an unexpected appearance in the women's Rumble battle, and fans applauded her much-anticipated comeback. Since then, she has joined a winning squad and is preparing for a big match in this month's Survivor Series WarGames.

Charlotte Flair, Bliss' tag-team partner, left Bliss in the ring in her most recent storyline, implying that she would not compete in the women's WarGames match because Rhea Ripley was on the team. Because Charlotte was not returning her calls, Bliss called her out on this week's "Monday Night Raw."

After a while, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and a few of the other WarGames comrades launched another heel attack, which prompted Charlotte to dash to the ring to repel them and see how Bliss was doing. Critics criticised Alexa's appearance, and as that narrative progressed, another story outside the ring also emerged.

Online detractors had said that Alexa looked "aged." The 34-year-old mother and wife, however, responded to the criticism by outlining the potential causes of appearance changes.

"I have seen the tweets - and all I can say is having only one full day at home a week with our nonstop schedule & being a full-time mom & continuously fighting weariness – will surely take a toll on my appearance," she said on X, utilising emojis of a sobbing laughing person and a black heart.

Fans responded to the former WWE champion's announcement with encouraging remarks regarding her beauty.

A fan wrote on X, "You literally do not age, Alexa. Please ignore everyone who says otherwise. We love you!"

"Avoid listening to the sound. We can only aspire to mature as gracefully as you. Another admirer said, "You continue to be a parent and kick a** in the ring."

"You are the goddess for a reason, Lexi!" remarked another X commenter. Ignore these trolls!

Bliss, whose actual name is Lexi Kaufman, signed a contract in 2013 and started making appearances for WWE's developmental brand, NXT. She has since won several titles on the main roster and is frequently commended for her work in heel roles and in-ring promotions.

After getting married to musician Ryan Cabrera in 2022, she had her first child, a girl, in 2023. Before making an unexpected comeback at the Royal Rumble in February, she was away from WWE for a number of years owing to her pregnancy and time spent raising their daughter, Hendrix Rouge Cabrera.

More than a week before she enters the ring to team up with Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, and a fifth tag team partner for WarGames, the WWE SmackDown star has responded to critics. On Saturday, November 29, they will go on a team that includes Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, Kairi Saine, and an unidentified partner at the Survivor Series VIP live event.
