CM PUNK SPEAKS: DEFENDS SKATTEBO'S INJURED RAW APPEARANCE. SHUTS DOWN HATERS
CM Punk defends NY Giants' Cam Skattebo for appearing on WWE RAW in a walking boot, calling criticism from fans "ridiculous." Skattebo is out for the season with a severe leg injury.
Punk Defends Skattebo's Gutsy Injured Raw Run
Cam Skattebo's presence at WWE RAW on Monday night doesn’t seem to be a big issue for CM Punk.
While appearing on Barstool Sports' The Yak, Punk and the panel talked about Skattebo's confrontation with The Judgment Day on RAW. Skattebo is currently dealing with a ruptured deltoid ligament, a fracture of the tibia, and an ankle dislocation.
Because of his injury, Skattebo's season with the New York Giants is over, yet he showed up at RAW in Madison Square Garden while wearing a walking boot. Many critics felt that Skattebo should have skipped the event, warning that he risks further injury and shouldn't be involved.
However, CM Punk doesn't share that view and criticised Giants fans while standing up for Skattebo's decision to attend the event.
Punk stated that it’s ridiculous to condemn Cam Skattebo for being at RAW. "I think those [critics] are just ignorant Giants fans, but life isn’t fair." Do you really want to push him away so he wouldn't want to play for your pathetic franchise? Punk quipped, launching a jab at the team, "Yeah, I said it." "It seems ridiculous to me, but I’m not aware of the politics surrounding the Giants, their fans, or anything related.
You know, for ages, professional wrestling has been linked with celebrities and athletes. So, I don’t understand it," Punk added. "What’s bothering you? The guy is sidelined due to a broken leg. Are you really going to be upset with him after he got hurt playing for your football Giants? What’s the point? I just don’t get it."
Big Cat pointed out that Skattebo's injury will keep him off the field for the entire season. It could be a different story if he had an opportunity to play this year. But Skattebo won't be back in 2025.
Punk elaborated, "I would understand if he did a backflip off the top rope and hurt himself again or engaged in any activity that would hinder his recovery." "But that’s not what he did."
Skattebo also urged critics to move on and explained his attendance at the show by saying he is simply trying to enjoy life and find happiness until he can return to playing.
JOHN CENA EXPOSED: HOT WWE ACT BURIAL STORY CONFIRMED TO BE ACCURATE.
Former Nexus member David Otunga claims John Cena changed a match finish to beat the popular faction, causing its downfall. Otunga states Cena likely now regrets the decision.
Cena's Burial of WWE Act Found To Be Completely Real
Despite WWE veteran John Cena's reputation for being supportive behind the scenes, a former wrestler believes he significantly contributed to the decline of a popular faction.
In 2010, one of the most beloved groups was The Nexus, comprised of rising talents standing against a major figure like John Cena. To everyone’s surprise, fans rallied behind the faction, with Wade Barrett leading the charge and gaining considerable popularity.
Nonetheless, Cena's team triumphed over the seven-member faction in a pivotal match, which is viewed as the initial blow to Nexus' momentum.
David Otunga, a former member of Nexus, claimed during an interview with Chris Van Vliet on Insight that John Cena's decisions were undeniably a factor in the group's downfall.
Yes, that is absolutely the case. I mean, that is precisely what happened.
Otunga responded when asked if the Cenation Leader was determined to be the one who came out on top:
Yes. I cannot understand why he wanted to win, but we were informed all day that we were set to win. Then, things started to get odd, and we were told, "No, the finish has changed," because John [Cena] wanted to emerge victorious, which was not well-received by the other competitors.
To be completely honest, I believe John knows that wasn't the right move. He might have thought it was the right choice back then, but in hindsight, I doubt he would agree.
The ex-WWE wrestler believes that John Cena influenced the match's outcome.
David Otunga stated that the result of the match in question was unclear, though he thinks Nexus was initially meant to come out on top.
The former WWE talent elaborated on his earlier comments by mentioning further planned elements meant to enhance the entertainment in the ring. However, those plans changed, and Cena ended up winning.
I know we were meant to win. I'm not sure how it was supposed to go down. I don’t know how many of us were meant to stay in the match, but there were some expected stunts, and ultimately, we lost.
SHOCKING SNUB: CHELSEA GREEN 'BANNED' FROM PRO WRESTLING HALL OF FAME
After her husband Matt Cardona's WWE return, Chelsea Green's hot streak hits a snag. The WWE Women's US Champion was ejected and permanently banned from the International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame for demanding her own exhibit.

Right now, things are going great for Chelsea Green of the WWE. This past Friday, Green was able to witness her husband, Matt Cardona, return to WWE as Zack Ryder on "SmackDown." In addition, she is once again the WWE Women's United States Champion and one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions with Ethan Page. Despite all of that luck, Green is still missing one thing: admission to the International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
However, it was not for lack of trying. Green posted a video of herself entering the International Pro Wrestling HOF and looking for a plaque bearing her name on X on Friday. However, as the tour guide clarified, Green has made a significant exception because it does not currently have a plaque—or anything else, for that matter—in the Hall. The guide was forced to summon security because she felt harassed, and in spite of Green's pleas, they "escorted" her out of the premises.
"Do not you fools ever forget that I am a legend!" Green sent out a tweet.
The International Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame continued their dispute with Green by "banning" her from the facility permanently in a Facebook post early on Sunday morning.
"In effect right now! "The International Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame has banned Chelsea Green," the tweet stated. Chelsea Green confronted a museum official on Friday, November 14th, to voice her displeasure over the absence of her picture at the Hall of Fame. When Chelsea failed to behave properly, our security staff had to take her out. Her image will now be publicly exhibited at the entrance to the museum to remind all visitors and guests that suitable decorum is needed at all times."
