JOHN CENA REMEMBERS GARDEN CLASSICS AHEAD OF LONG-AWAITED WWE RAW FAREWELL
John Cena wrestles his final "WWE Raw" match tonight in Madison Square Garden, a venue key to his career. He reflects on his 2008 Royal Rumble return from injury and winning the U.S. Title at WrestleMania 20.
THE REAL REASON AUSTIN THEORY CHOSE THE VISION DURING HIS INJURY RECOVERY
Austin Theory is back with The Vision! Discover how Bron Breakker and Logan Paul inspired his aggressive new WWE Raw takeover.
Austin Theory came back to WWE after his injury with a whole new attitude. He wasn’t just fired up—he looked sharper and more determined, and now he had some backup. That part really clicked into place when he pinned Rey Mysterio, a Hall of Famer, on the December 22 episode of "WWE Raw." Bronson Reed from The Vision stood in his corner that night, making the new partnership official. Theory says all this change started while he was stuck at home, watching The Vision’s crew tear it up on TV.
"I shot up fast in my career—big moments, one after another. Honestly, I lost track of who I was," Theory admitted on "WWE Raw Recap." "I got lazy, just hanging around, waiting for someone to hand me something because I thought I’d earned it. But that’s not me. I’ve fought for everything I have ever since I was a kid. I got to WWE young, did some big things, and then I caught myself just waiting around. The Vision? They don’t wait—they go out and take what they want."
When Theory started to question his place in WWE, he realised he had two choices: sit back and hope for a break, or get out there and make things happen. He picked the second one—no hesitation—thanks to a little motivation from The Vision’s Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Logan Paul. These guys don’t wait for their turn. They go right for the top, sometimes even stealing the spotlight.
"You’ve got Bron Breakker—he’s going to be the next World Heavyweight Champion," Theory said. "Logan Paul? Everybody knows that guy. And Bronson Reed, man, he’s all muscle, crazy about his sneakers, The Tribal Thief—I’ll give him that. As for me, I’m not slowing down. I don’t quit. I don’t fold, and trust me, I never forget."
SAMI ZAYN REVEALS 2026 WORLD TITLE PLANS AFTER "DISGRACEFUL" INJURY SHUFFLE TODAY
Sami Zayn reflects on his favourite 13 matches of 2025, his US Title win, and why his 2026 World Title push is facing a major delay.
As 2025 wrapped up, Sami Zayn took a moment to look back before setting his sights on the new year. On Wednesday, he went through his favourite TV matches from the past year—just scrolling through his memories and sharing what stood out.
He even posted about it on X, dropping a photo thread with highlights from 13 matches that really meant something to him. And he didn’t just share the wins; he included the tough losses, too. When you add it up, he went 7–6 in those matches, with some tough defeats against big names like Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, and Randy Orton.
One of the biggest moments? His surprise return to SmackDown in Montreal on August 8. The crowd went wild as he beat Solo Sikoa, his old Bloodline teammate and the U.S. Champion at the time, in a non-title match. That win led to a rematch a few weeks later—another favourite of Sami’s—where he actually won the U.S. title.
Most of the matches he picked came from his run as champion. He took on all challengers, including a wild first title defence against John Cena—the guy who started the whole U.S. Open Challenge thing. Eventually, Ilja Dragunov took the title from him in another match that Sami called a highlight.
Throughout 2025, Sami wrestled almost every other week, usually showing up on Raw and SmackDown. After he switched to SmackDown in August, you could feel he was gearing up for a world title push in 2026. But then injuries hit key players like Seth Rollins, and suddenly, WWE had to shuffle the deck. That world title shot might have to wait.
Still, Sami’s one of the most popular guys in WWE. Fans know he’ll deliver whenever he steps in the ring.
Let’s break down Sami Zayn’s 2025:
Total Matches: 40
Record: 24-14-2
Winning Percentage: 60%
Key Opponents: Solo Sikoa, John Cena, Ilja Dragunov
