For months, there has been much discussion over the French goalkeeper's future. At the end of the season, his current contract with AC Milan expires, and he does not appear interested in staying on. Several elite clubs from all across Europe are vying for his services because he might be available for free.
The 30-year-old is reportedly the target of top teams Juventus and Chelsea, who are expected to compete for his services. The Old Lady is reportedly considering making Maignan an offer of €5–6 million per year to persuade him to turn off a move to Stamford Bridge in favour of joining them in Turin, according to a report from Juvelive.it.
Maignan joined Milan in the summer of 2021 after making a name for himself at LOSC Lille. Since then, he has only gotten stronger and stronger, becoming one of their pillars of support. The captain is still Milan's undeniable starter, but his contract predicament casts doubt on his future.
He has not been persuaded to stay by the Italian powerhouses, and because a new contract is not in sight, a move elsewhere seems extremely possible, with the Premier League being the most likely destination.
The 30-year-old is adored by Chelsea. The Blues are searching for a goalie upgrade because they are dissatisfied with the way their present goalkeepers perform. They think Maignan might help them with a number of their defensive issues.
Even though the article indicates that they already have the player's approval, there may be some last-minute adjustments because he has not signed anything yet. Juventus wants to sabotage the agreement because they are eager to sign him.
Luciano Spalletti is eager to get a new goalkeeper because Michele Di Gregorio has not been able to secure his place at the Turin-based team. According to him, Maignan is a perfect fit for their vision, and Juventus has begun negotiating a possible transfer.
Their head coach Damien Comolli may try to persuade the Milan goalie by using his acquaintance from Lille. In the meantime, their CEO is prepared to beat Chelsea to his signature by offering him a three-year contract of €5–6 million a year.
MILAN’S STAR CHRISTIAN PULISIC LIGHTS UP REVIVAL AT PERFECT MOMENT
After a slow start, Christian Pulisic is on fire for AC Milan this season. With 4 goals and 2 assists, his resurgence is perfectly timed for the USMNT ahead of the 2026 World Cup, where he will be a key leader.

Following a disappointing 2024–25 season at Milan, Christian Pulisic has taken to the field once more this season.
The USA international, who is renowned for his goal and assist against Napoli, has four goals and two assists. After playing 20 minutes in the draw against Parma, the forward has only recently returned to action, but it looks like he will have a significant season for the Rossoneri.
In a sense, this is just what the United States and he need right now. Since the 27-year-old will be participating in his second consecutive World Cup, it will be crucial that he regains his form before the competition.
Perhaps the most important attacking player for the USA in the 2022 tournament was Pulisic. He helped them win 1-0 over Iran, their only tournament victory, with one goal and two assists in four games.
There have been some downturns in the US since then. The nation will have a great chance to come together once more for the home tournament the following year.
Pulisic may have the best season of his Milan career right now. He scored eleven goals and provided eleven assists in the previous season. During the 2023–2024 season, he helped score 21 goals. He has a considerably higher donation rate thus far in the current campaign, and it may continue to improve.
Attacking players who occupy space get the most out of Max Allegri's setup. In the absence of Pulisic, the Rossoneri have won games by utilising many of Rafael Leao's skills, particularly in the match against Roma.
Pulisic himself took on that role against Napoli, attacking space during the break and making a significant impact in the closing third. This will maximise his potential and capitalise on his footballing strengths.
That will give Pulisic a lot of confidence before the World Cup. His duty to occasionally lead the attack is similar to what he would do for the United States throughout the competition.
The former Chelsea player's fitness is constantly in doubt. However, Pulisic has consistently produced strong figures despite the problems. It is important to remember that Pulisic still has a chance to win the Scudetto, and Milan is still very much in the running for the title. It would be the cherry on top for him before the World Cup, if all goes according to plan.

Rodrigo Mendoza, an Elche youth, is a target for Juventus.
Juventus is reportedly interested in Mendoza, who has been making waves in La Liga this season, according to Tuttosport. In addition to keeping an eye on him at the most recent U20 World Cup, the Bianconeri scouted him during his final game for Spain U21 during the current international.
Elche produced the 20-year-old, who was elevated to the first team in 2023. At this point, he has made a name for himself at the club. He has made ten appearances thus far this season in both La Liga and Copa del Rey, scoring one goal in each.
Mendoza's contract with Los Franjiverdes is set to expire in June 2028, although it has a €20 million release clause.
According to the source, critics maintain that the Spain U21 is well worth the money, contrasting his skill set with that of Barcelona's Pedri.
A list of admirers who have been following the midfield player since last summer has also been made public by the Turin-based tabloid. This includes the Red Bull organisation, which attempted to sign him to Paris FC, as well as clubs from the Saudi Pro League.
Additionally, Como hoped to include Mendoza in their young Spanish team, which has been growing under Cesc Fabregas' guidance.
According to the source, the Murcia native has recently been the subject of inquiries from both Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Because of the increasing rivalry for Mendoza's signature, it will be difficult to influence him. However, Juventus will undoubtedly be among the leaders in the race if they are serious about acquiring the player's services.
