DREW MCINTYRE’S WWE FUTURE TAKES SHOCKING TURN, BACKSTAGE DETAILS LEAK
Drew McIntyre's WWE suspension is a storyline, not for the Highlander remake. His agency confirms the film doesn't shoot until 2026, and his WWE schedule has been coordinated to avoid conflict.

According to reports, Drew McIntyre's recent "suspension" was not a means of writing the Scottish Warrior off WWE TV to film the next Highlander movie, despite earlier rumours to the contrary.
In case you missed last week's SmackDown, McIntyre was suspended by Nick Aldis for assaulting a referee during the main event, which consisted of Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black. Following that, the Wrestling Observer revealed that the three-time WWE World Champion had been suspended in order to film that film.
"There is nothing to the rumours that big Drew is taking a hiatus to shoot Highlander, according to PWInsider Elite. Not at this moment, anyhow. Rather, this suspension is merely the next chapter in McIntyre's ongoing narrative.
Moreover, Nick LoPiccolo of Paradigm Talent Agency, which represents several wrestlers, including Drew McIntyre, took to X to refute those earlier WOR reports, confirming that Henry Cavill, the movie's star, is still recovering from a torn ACL and that Highlander will not begin filming until April of next year. "The movie shoots in April 2026, and I have set the timetable out so it will not disrupt WWE creative," LoPiccolo clarified.
Henry Cavill plays Connor MacLeod in the Highlander reboot, which was directed by Chad Stahelski of the John Wick series. Drew McIntyre plays Connor's brother, Angus. Dave Bautista is portraying the nasty Kurgan this time around, while other heavyweights like Karen Gillan, Jeremy Irons, Kevin McKidd, and Russell Crowe are also joining.
INSIDER LEAK: WWE UNEASY AS CODY RHODES & ROMAN REIGNS SHARE SPOTLIGHT AGAIN
A new report reveals internal WWE concern over booking Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns together. The issue is reportedly a reluctance to appear on-screen unless it builds to a third singles match, which is not currently planned.

According to a recent rumour, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' joint appearance on WWE television has raised concerns within the organisation.
On Monday's episode of Raw, the Men's WarGames Match at Survivor Series was finally announced. Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso will make up Team CM Punk. They will face Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and The Vision of Logan Paul.
However, it has been claimed that John Cena will be on Team CM Punk at Survivor Series; therefore, there will likely be more additions to the contest in the future. Ibou of Self Made claims that WWE has been talking about including Cena in WarGames for months. Ibou also claims that during SummerSlam, he was informed that WWE wanted Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and John Cena to be on the babyface WarGames squad. The fact that neither Cody Rhodes nor Roman Reigns is willing to be on-screen alongside the other unless it is to set up a third singles match between them was one of the challenges in booking such a pairing at Survivor Series. There are currently no plans for Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns to face each other again in a singles contest.
Speaking of Team Punk, the lineup has been changing since I was informed three months ago at SummerSlam that the WWE intended to sell Survivor Series tickets by assembling Cody, Roman, Punk, and Cena into a single WarGames squad. That is what they sought to accomplish. Ibou started, "I was informed that there would be several obstacles in my way of getting that squad.
"I was informed a month later that Cody would not be participating in that battle; it is not in the cards for him to do so. I was then informed that Cody will be appearing on the show to defend his title. Some WWE employees think that unless Roman and Cody can tease a match that they will deliver on, someone connected does not want them to be on the same screen .Someone there is telling that until we start this match, I can not be on-screen with Roman or vice versa with Cody," Ibou went on.
"This is the main point, and there is some worry about it. Regarding the question of whether you truly want to show them on screen, pique the interest of the viewers, and then be unable to perform the match. Additionally, Cody and Roman are not currently scheduled. There are numerous obstacles there.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes have mostly been adversaries since Rhodes rejoined the WWE in 2022. Cody halted Reigns' tenure as the Undisputed WWE Universal Title champion in the main event of WrestleMania XL, but Reigns overcame Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
After that, Rhodes and Reigns teamed up at Bad Blood 2024, an event that concluded with The Rock's notorious appearance. Since then, they have not partnered up or faced off in a bout.
JOHN CENA RETURNS TO WWE RAW — MAJOR MATCH SPARKS FUTURE INTRIGUE

According to reports, John Cena has four matches left in his WWE career. His final match is scheduled for tonight's WWE Raw from the TD Garden in Massachusetts, where he hails from. In early 2025, the 17-time world champion committed to a 36-date tour at locations across the globe as part of his retirement tour.
Cena just has four more in-ring appearances left as his farewell bout, scheduled for December 13 in Washington, DC, approaches. According to sources, he will wrestle at each of them.
For months, John has been booked for tonight's Raw show. At first, it was thought that the 48-year-old would be present to formally launch the 16-man 'Last Time is Now Tournament,' in which the victor would get to face the WWE veteran in his final match.
However, in his second-to-last appearance on the red brand as an active Superstar, Cena is anticipated to accomplish much more, according to BodySlam.net. The report claims that John will compete on the show against Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. That fight had previously been anticipated to happen at Survivor Series in San Diego, Mysterio's hometown.
No matter how tonight's match turns out, Cena is also anticipated to enter the ring at next week's WWE Raw from Madison Square Garden in New York, according to a separate report by Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer.
Cena's opponent for MSG has not yet been revealed, but things could change following tonight's performance. Although Cena is still anticipated to compete at what will be his final PLE of his career, it is unclear if the schedule adjustment will impact his preparations for Survivor Series.
