Due to his illness, Carlos Sainz will not be participating in the media appearances for this weekend's São Paulo Grand Prix.
The Williams driver was supposed to give a preview of the upcoming days, which include a sprint and the main event on Sunday, to the written and televised media at Interlagos.
In the hopes that he will be healthy enough to race this weekend, the Williams team has stated that Sainz will not be at the track and will instead have a break in the team's hotel.
Sadly, Carlos is ill and will not be attending the track today, so all required media engagements will be cancelled, a Williams representative stated. Sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience.
The Spanish driver suffered appendicitis the day after participating in Ferrari's Friday practice sessions, forcing him to miss the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix last year.
As a result, Oliver Bearman, a driver for Haas who was then the Scuderia's reserve driver, took up the hot seat and finished in seventh place on his Formula One debut.
CRISTIANO RONALDO EXPLAINS DECISION TO MISS DIOGO JOTA’S FUNERAL AMID BACKLASH

Cristiano Ronaldo has justified his choice to skip Diogo Jota's burial. Jota was a former forward for Liverpool and Portugal who passed away in a vehicle accident in July. After a tyre blew out while he was passing another car, Jota and his brother Andre Silva were travelling to the port city of Santander to board a ferry back to the UK when their Lamborghini veered off the road and caught fire close to Zamora, Spain.
Arteta praises Arsenal for their victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, which changed the course of recent history.
Jota and Silva's hometown of Gondomar, Portugal, hosted a funeral a few days after their untimely deaths. Despite the presence of several of their former teammates, Ronaldo, who had played with Jota for six years in the Portugal national team, was not present. Ronaldo has finally provided an explanation for his decision to skip the funeral.
"I do not care about that because when you feel free, you do not have to worry about what people think," he said in an interview with Piers Morgan. I have not visited a cemetery since my father passed away, though, so that is one of the things I do not do.
"Secondly, you are aware of my reputation—everywhere I go, there is a circus. I also did not go because I do not want this kind of attention, and if I do, it will be directed at me.
"I noticed—and I am not criticising it—that you do interviews to talk about him and football when you are in a delicate situation. What is this, guys? Come on.
"This demonstrates how private life can be at times; I am not involved in it. Good luck if you wish to enter this planet, but I will be on the other side. I felt pleased about my choice, even though people can still criticise me.
Even though Ronaldo was not present at Jota's funeral, he paid a moving homage to the former Liverpool player and described the heartbreaking moment he found out about his death.
Ronaldo, 40, stated, "I was with Geo (Georgina Rodriguez) alone." "In the morning, I was in the gym for our rest period. When they sent me the texts, I did not think they were real. Geo can attest to the fact that I shed many tears.
For the nation, the family, the friends, and the teammates, it was a trying time. The news was somewhat depressing.
After undergoing lung surgery, Jota was advised not to fly and made plans to return to England by water with his brother. Before taking a ship to Portsmouth, the two were on their way to Santander, spending the night in Benavente.
CNN stated, "He had undergone lung surgery and was warned not to fly after this." Rui Laura from Portugal clarified. "He was travelling to the port city of Santander in northern Spain to take the ferry to the UK and continue driving the car once he arrived in the country. He and his brother were travelling to Liverpool.

Formerly known as Sasha Banks, Mercedes Mone is a well-known star in the women's wrestling industry. More than ten years ago, she and numerous others made a substantial contribution to the growth of women's wrestling. Her iconic WWE matches are still regarded as career-defining moments. She did, however, disclose one specific celebrity with whom she loved wrestling most.
Mercedes Mone Uses Social Media to Share Her Favourite "Mark"
Mone is quite active on social media, giving updates and responding to tweets from fans and other wrestlers. She commemorated the tenth anniversary of a memorable match that dramatically altered her career only a few months ago. One of the best women's singles wrestling matchups ever is still the August 22, 2015, NXT Women's Championship match between Banks and Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. With the two wrestlers landing big moves on one another, receiving unique shouts from the live audience, and receiving great evaluations after the match, it effectively depicted the energy and chemistry between them.
Mone recently quoted a tweet from a fan account and posted it on X. They had posted a video from years ago's SmackDown Women's Championship singles bout between Bayley and Banks. The match was unique because, in the COVID-19 era, it attracted a remarkably high weekly viewership of 2.5 million. She penned,
which is in line with her earlier statements that Bayley is her wrestling soulmate and one of her favourite WWE wrestlers. Even after Banks departed WWE to work at AEW and the independent circuit, the two celebrities remain close friends.
It is interesting to note that Mone calls Bayley "Mark," as seen by her comment in another thread.
Marky, you have my undying love.
One of the numerous amicable interactions between the two superstars is this one. At the moment, their career paths diverge; Bayley is collaborating with her friend Lyra Valkyria, while Mone is taking the world by storm and winning titles with every promotion.
