After losing to CM Punk at Saturday Night's Main Event, Jey Uso has spoken out, and it appears that he is not pleased with the WWE Universe.
After Seth Rollins was forced to forfeit the title after it was announced that he would be sidelined for up to six months due to a shoulder injury sustained at last month's Crown Jewel: Perth event, the former Bloodline member faced off against Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship.
Punk had held the championship for a few minutes following his victory over Gunther at SummerSlam, but a reportedly wounded Rollins quickly cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, defeating a worn-out CM Punk.
Jey Uso's chance to win the title came after his controversial victory in a 20-man Battle Royal, in which his brother Jimmy saved him twice before Jey eliminated him from behind. "The Best in the World" had earned his shot at the title after defeating Jey and LA Knight in a triple threat, number one contender match.
The Main Event on Saturday Night: CM Punk vs. Jey Uso
As events began in Salt Lake City, Utah, it became evident that punk had the backing of the vast majority of the populace. The two exchanged blows while the crowd chanted his name, hoping to be the first to kill the other.
Jey was unable to pin the Chicago native, but he was able to execute several spears, one of which sent Punk past the protective barricades. After a lengthy exchange of finishing moves in which Jey used a GTS to counter Punk's Piledriver, Punk got up and speared the Samoan.
Punk eventually managed to pin Uso and reclaim the title he had briefly had at SummerSlam after back-to-back GTSs.
Jey Uso Responds to the Loss of SNME
'Yeet' expressed his annoyance at Punk and the WWE Universe on Instagram in his first social media post after his defeat. A photo of him sagging against the barriers and his opponent standing high on the ropes with the championship in hand was posted. This was followed by the middle-finger emoji and the statement, "Y'all win."
This is probably a jab at the WWE Universe, who seem to be turning against him, but it may also just be him venting his anger about not being able to claim the title he won (and lost) against Gunther earlier this year.
Following a growing number of WWE fans expressing their dissatisfaction with his own ascent in the ranks, many of whom were irritated by his victory in the 2025 Royal Rumble and implied that he lacked the necessary skills to be the face of the company, Jey will undoubtedly have heard the chants of support for CM Punk during the match.
Jey has been predicted by many fans to be the next WWE member to turn heel. The Samoan appears to be following his cousin Roman Reigns' instruction to "concentrate on himself," and his most recent social media post virtually guarantees that he will be the next antagonist in the WWE plot.

Amid speculation regarding his future with the Formula 1 club, Lewis Hamilton has sent a strong statement after his debut season with Ferrari.
The Briton announced the move before the 2024 season began, and after over a year of preparation, he finally made it to Maranello this year.
It has undoubtedly been a lacklustre start, as Hamilton has yet to win a complete Grand Prix with the team and has not placed on the podium either.
To the uninitiated eye, however, Hamilton has been adjusting to several factors, including the car and all of its subtleties and, for the first time in his career, being at a non-British-based team.
Although Hamilton acknowledged that his profile and the team's alignment would be revolutionary, he thinks the two have a lot more time to create a fruitful tenure together.
He told the Italian brand's own publication, Ferrari Magazine, "I understood that merging our brands would be enormous."
However, you still feel it and think, 'This is even stronger than I thought.'
It is lovely, and there have been many benefits, but it also carries a lot of weight and duty.
Rome was not created in a day, yet everyone expects to win right soon. What was the duration? We will need to research that.
Hamilton concentrates on "what I can control."
The interview coincides with some rumours that Hamilton is on his way out, with some believing that he would be replaced by Oliver Bearman, a current Haas driver and former teammate of George Russell and Ferrari protégé.
When asked how fans of Formula One would know what it takes to win, Hamilton appropriately said, "And that is not many people."
"You can only really comprehend how a team and Formula One operate when you are a part of it. Otherwise, you can not imagine how the equipment actually works.
"I had been in Formula One for a long time, but it was completely different when I joined this team. Therefore, I do not blame others for ignorance.
"All I can do is keep concentrating on the things under my control. How do I get ready and collaborate with the group? How do I remain upbeat and present myself every day?

In game seven of the World Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5–4 to become the first Major League Baseball team to win back-to-back championships in 25 years.
At the bottom of the third inning, George Springer hit a three-run homer off Shohei Ohtani that was 442 feet long, giving Toronto a 3-0 lead and forcing the Dodgers to rally from an early hole.
In the fourth inning, Will Smith reached home on a sacrifice fly to give Los Angeles the lead.
In the sixth, the Dodgers came within one run with another sacrifice fly, but Toronto quickly regained the lead with a double from Andres Gimenez.
The Dodgers eventually tied the game in the next inning thanks to Miguel Rojas's bat after Max Muncy's single home run at the top of the eighth made it 4-3.
At the top of the eleventh, Smith hit a home run to put Los Angeles ahead, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, the Dodgers' pitcher, was able to seal the victory.
Los Angeles is now the first club since the New York Yankees in 2000 to win consecutive World Series.
