EZE’S PALACE REUNION COMES WITH ARSENAL WARNING FROM MIKEL ARTETA

Mikel Arteta tells Eberechi Eze his focus must be on Arsenal ahead of an emotional reunion with former club Crystal Palace. The £60m signing faces his old team for the first time since his summer move to the Emirates.

Ahead of the England internationals' "special" reunion with Crystal Palace, Mikel Arteta has informed Eberechi Eze that his attention must be on Arsenal.

When Arsenal hosts Oliver Glasner's club at the Emirates on Sunday, Eze will play his old team for the first time since moving to north London for £60 million.

After five years at Selhurst Park, Eze tweeted a heartfelt letter to the team's fans in August after completing his transfer to Arsenal.

But Arsenal wants to stay at the top of the Premier League, and Arteta is supposed to put an end to the team's 22-year title drought.

When questioned about the importance of Sunday's game for Eze, Arteta responded, "It is a huge game for us, because last season here we dropped points, so our emphasis is on that." Arsenal and Palace drew 2-2 at the Emirates in April.

Given his history and what he accomplished for Palace, we are certain that Ebs' match will be extremely memorable. When you play against a former club, you feel a certain way.

"The team is the main emphasis, although there are many emotions and very deep relationships. And I do not doubt that Ebs will be prepared for it.

Eze secured Palace's first major prize by scoring the game-winning goal in May's FA Cup final victory over Manchester City, capping up his time with his former team. However, in ten games for his present employers, he has only scored once, in a Carabao Cup victory at Port Vale.

Since captain Martin Odegaard is still injured, Eze is probably going to start at number 10 on Sunday.

Arteta went on to say of the 27-year-old Eze, "He has done a lot of things really well."

In a different setting, particularly considering how many games he plays (he has not played every three days that frequently), his performance and skills have been excellent.

Our knowledge of him has improved significantly, as has our comprehension of what the team needs to do to capitalise on his strengths.

His willingness to go above and above to support the team is what I appreciate most about him. Can he focus on the bits that require a little extra attention? He is definitely doing it. He will improve the more time he spends with particular players.

DISCIPLINARY BLOW: MADRID PLAYER SUSPENDED POST EL CLáSICO TUSSLE

Real Madrid's backup keeper Andriy Lunin has been handed a one-game suspension by the RFEF for his aggressive conduct on the bench during the heated final moments of El Clásico. Real Madrid's appeal was rejected.

Los Blancos' goalie Andriy Lunin has been suspended for one game by the RFEF Disciplinary Committee for his involvement in the sideline dramas during the El Clásico's final moments. Although the cameras did not catch it, referee Soto Grado did record that he had sent the Ukrainian off.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the RFEF responded as follows when asked why Lunin received a red card.

The reason for Lunin, Andrii's expulsion in the 90th minute was that he had to be restrained by his teammates after he walked aggressively from his bench to the blonde bench.

"When considered significant, those whose behaviour violates sporting order will be suspended for four to ten games or fined between 602 and 3,006 euros."

Because of Lunin's actions, which constituted a minor violation of the sporting order, he was suspended for one game. The ruling had been challenged by Real Madrid. However, the RFEF stayed steadfast, defending the referee's ruling and the evidence in the match report and on film.

Now, the backup goalie will not play against Valencia this weekend, where he is probably going to be benched. Fran Gonzalez and Sunico, both from the youth team, might be called up as the matchday squad's third choice, with Sergio Mestre serving as a backup.

No Barcelona players or any other Real Madrid players were slapped with bans following the two flash moments in the closing stages of the game. When Vinicius Jr. and Lamie Yamal argued, even players who were not on the team were spotted shoving on the side of the field. The RFEF, however, determined that nothing that came to pass would justify further prohibitions.

According to Bukayo Saka, it is feasible for Arsenal and England to win both games this season. The season has started well for the Gunners under Mikel Arteta's leadership.

Arsenal leads the Premier League standings by four points at the moment and is starting to look like a title contender. Manchester City is only one point ahead of defending champions Liverpool, who are seven points behind.

Saka, however, is not only interested in winning at his club; he also hopes to succeed internationally. Manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that winning the trophy is his ambition for England, who have qualified for the World Cup in the USA next year.

Saka is optimistic about his club's and his nation's chances of winning. "Yeah, that is my prayer," he remarked in an interview with Sky Sports. It is possible, of course.
