FEDERER EXPLAINS DECISION TO LET COACHES GUIDE LEO’S TENNIS
Roger Federer says being a good dad is harder than being a tennis champion. The 20-time major winner also admitted he's "not the best coach" for his own children, praising the role of junior coaches.

Federer has four children, including twins, with his wife Mirka. Leo and Lennon Federer were born in May 2014, while Myla Rose and Charlene Riva Federer were born in 2009.
Federer, who freely acknowledges that he is not a very good teacher, highlighted the value of junior coaches while participating in the "Thanks for Playing" event and helping to open a new tennis court in Shanghai with officials.
For this reason, junior coaches are essential to young tennis players' progress.
According to Sportskeeda, Federer stated, "The expectations are so extremely high at the professional level, whether it is on him, or if it is on the other kid or the coach who is there because of my success and my know-how."
"Everyone believes that I can train an 11-year-old just as well, but I can't. I must therefore mostly rely on the junior coaches there, who perform fantastically."

"I am always grateful to all of my former coaches and junior coaches, who play a crucial role in motivating children," Federer stated.
"It is crucial to have excellent coaches when you are young to develop a passion for the game, and Leo has had excellent coaches thus far. I have tried to assist; I have not been the best coach.
