AC MILAN EXTEND PARTNERSHIP WITH BLOCKCHAIN GIANT SOCIOS.COM
AC Milan renews its partnership with blockchain fan platform Socios.com. The deal expands the $ACM Fan Token's use, offering exclusive content and events to holders, despite ongoing debate over such models.
AC Milan double down on blockchain partnership with Socios
The blockchain-based fan interaction company Socios.com and Serie A powerhouse AC Milan have confirmed their collaboration renewal.
The $ACM Fan Token, developed by Socios.com, a member of the Chiliz group, has reached people in 119 countries and provides more than 850 supporters with special benefits like match tickets, memorabilia, and backstage access.
With the introduction of a Fan Token Gated Content Series this season, supporters will have even more opportunities to interact with the team, as token holders will have access to unique live events, interviews, quizzes, and virtual meet-and-greets.
Maikel Oettle, the Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan, stated: "We are thrilled to expand our collaboration with Socios.com. We have undertaken a number of initiatives to interact with our expanding fan base throughout the years, and this revitalisation furthers our common objective of increasing digital engagement with supporters.
Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Socios.com, also emphasises how Web3 technology is changing fan-club relationships, saying, "The Fan Token Gated Content Series positions the $ACM Token at the centre of an emerging interaction ecosystem."
This shows AC Milan's dedication to digital innovation, but it also sparks well-known discussions regarding the true benefits and possible drawbacks of blockchain technology in football.
Not everyone is a good fit for the Socios model, and not every connection has been as successful as the one with the Rossoneri. Concerns have been raised by rival teams over the stability of token values, transparency, and whether or not this digital fan interaction actually improves the supporter experience or is just another tactic to increase fan loyalty for financial gain.
The blockchain sector is given legitimacy by AC Milan's usage of Socios.com for fan interaction, and their supporters have been involved in creating naming stands and anniversary kits. The future of digital fan contact will be here to stay if the platform keeps expanding and discovers additional teams with the stature and legacy of Milan.

According to Pep Guardiola, Nottingham Forest has one of the best representatives of the new fascination in football at their disposal.
Although Mikel Arteta, Arsenal, and their ability to score goals from set pieces are admired by the football community, Guardiola has reminded everyone that the idea is not particularly new.
As demonstrated during his tenure as Burnley's manager from 2012 to 2012, he did, in fact, hail incoming Forest manager Sean Dyche as "one of the greatest."
The 54-year-old guided the Clarets into the Premier League and kept them there for six seasons before exiting Turf Moor.
Forest, who have only won one league game so far and are now in third place, can now access that knowledge.

"Every manager does what they think," Guardiola stated. I am not ignorant of the fact that I want to score from corners and free kicks. I desire it. However, I dedicate my time to what we need to do to improve our play, attack, and generate opportunities. to score goals.
I pay attention, of course, but I am aware that I am not the manager to try to; I have done that my entire career. When things became rough at Burnley, I recall that we gave up maybe one corner, if any, as the second balls were under our control. That is the most effective method of defending these games.
However, you need to be strong in many areas for that, and we are working on it. I will keep working mostly on our game till the very end. And occasionally, as necessary, adjust.
At Brentford, we performed quite well. James, the French set-piece coach, did a fantastic job of enticing our guys into defending these kinds of acts. The same was true at Arsenal: it was amazing. We did not control the game against Arsenal; therefore, we gave up a lot of corners.
NAPOLI TAKE THREE-POINT LEAD AFTER CLOSE WIN AGAINST LECCE
