Pedri missed the last game of 2025 because of a small injury, but he should be ready for Barca's next match. For sure, if Barca wants to win trophies this season, they need Pedri on the field.

Barcelona’s had to manage without Raphinha for parts of this season, but it’s not been a surprise that their results get better when the Brazilian plays.
With Gavi still injured, Raphinha seems to have stepped up as the heart and soul of Barcelona. His seven goals and three assists in just 11 La Liga games just show again how important he is to the team.
It's still weird that Raphinha didn't win the Ballon d'Or and FIFA The Best awards, even though Barca fans already know how good he is.
After Raphinha didn't win, Flick said it was a joke. Also, after the win against Alaves, the way Flick talked with Raphinha showed how good the vibe is between the player and the coach at Camp Nou.
Eric Garcia
No one thought Eric Garcia would be on this list to start the season, but he's been super important in the first half of the year.
We knew Hansi Flick liked him a lot at Barcelona, and he's proved that he deserves it with some great games in different positions this season.
Garcia played well at right-back, centre-back, and in midfield and is still playing well, even with a broken nose.
He's the only player to play in every Barcelona game this season, and he's already been rewarded with a new contract.
Flick said that he could be captain one day, this flexible star, but Garcia played down that talk in his usual humble way.
This is very different from not that long ago, when he seemed like he might leave. Now, he seems to be one of the first players on the team sheet.
Lamine Yamal
Lamine Yamal is another player who's had some injuries this season, but he's still been very important to Barcelona.

It's easy to forget that Yamal's only 18, still has braces, and is just starting his career.

Joan Garcia
Joan Garcia didn't have the easiest start to his Barcelona time. Also, moving from Espanyol to Barca was always a controversial move, and pushing Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen out of the club has made people talk.
But Garcia has had no problems fitting in at his new club and has just let his play do the talking so far.
A knee injury stopped him for a bit, but he's back now and seems like he never left.
Barca signed Garcia because he was a good deal they couldn't pass up. So far, it looks like it was a very good buy.
