“I thought Arsenal played well against Everton on Saturday night. They controlled the game and deserved to win, even though it was close,” Shearer said.
“It was a good result and game. I like how Gyökeres took the penalty; it would have been understandable if he had been nervous. It was a good game for Arsenal.
“I don’t think Brighton is doing great; they weren’t good against Sunderland, so I think Arsenal will win.
“City and Arsenal have different strengths. City is great on offence and always scores.
“Arsenal is a better defensive team, for sure. There are good and bad things about both teams, but Arsenal needs to score a few more goals.”

Moyes is only going to wait so long for Barry to start scoring to match his level of play lately, says The Independent.
He can't play six more games and only score once. He's had his shot, but I have to say Beto is starting to show more. Barry needs to keep playing well, Moyes said.
At the start of the season, we subbed them around after 60 minutes because we needed one of them to score. We decided to give Thierno a run to get used to the Prem, but we really want Beto to get back in form too. We need goals from both of them.
Barry's still got value after scoring 19 goals last season in Spain. January could be a good time to sell the 23-year-old if Moyes is done with him. Ferguson has a good Prem record and might be the guy he wants.
