UNBELIEVABLE SCENE: MCGREGOR GIVES BOXING LESSON TO MIKE TYSON AHEAD OF MAYWEATHER CLASH
Mike Tyson confirmed his massive exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is set for Africa in March 2026. The news follows a viral video of Conor McGregor giving Tyson boxing tips.
There's been talk about a possible fight between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather for a while now. Recently, Iron Mike suggested he has a date set for a match with Money Mayweather in 2026. He even mentioned a specific date and location.
The idea of Tyson versus Mayweather has been floating around since September. Tyson said the fight would be in Africa sometime in March. He brought this up during a recent An Experience with Mike Tyson event, giving specifics about the upcoming battle with the former five-weight world champion.
Tyson last fought Jake Paul in a Netflix event last November, where Paul won. Mayweather's last time in the ring was against John Gotti III, mob boss John Gotti's grandson, last August.
In other news, a strange video went viral showing Conor McGregor giving Mike Tyson boxing advice.
While in Dublin for his live show, Tyson had an interesting moment with Conor McGregor. McGregor was seen showing boxing moves to Tyson, who watched with his mouth open.
Many online fans found it funny that McGregor would be giving boxing lessons to someone as experienced as Mike Tyson. Given that McGregor fought Mayweather in one of the biggest boxing matches ever, maybe The Notorious was giving Tyson some advice on what it's like to fight Money before Tyson's potential clash with him in early 2026.
UNDEFEATED NICK BALL RETURNS HOME TO DEFEND WBA TITLE AGAINST FIGUEROA. FULL ANALYSIS.
Nick 'The Wrecking' Ball defends his WBA featherweight title against former two-weight world champion Brandon Figueroa in Liverpool on February 7. We analyse the huge test for Ball.
Nick 'The Wrecking' Ball will defend his WBA featherweight title against Brandon 'The Heartbreaker' Figueroa on Saturday, February 7.
Back at his favourite M&&SBank Arena in Liverpool, Ball will be fighting to keep his unbeaten record intact on his home turf.
After grabbing the belt from Raymond Ford in June 2024 in Riyadh, the 28-year-old Ball has had some great title defences against Ronny Rios, TJ Doheny, and recently, Sam Goodman. His record stands at 23-0-1 (13 KOs).
This February 7 fight marks his third world title fight in his hometown, and you can catch all the action live and only on DAZN.
The WBA featherweight title defence against Brandon Figueroa is a big test and an opportunity for Ball to continue establishing himself as one of boxing's best up-and-coming stars.
Figueroa is bringing a lot to the table.
Brandon Figueroa, also 28, is coming from Weslaco, Texas, and his professional record is 26-2-1 (19 KOs).
A former two-weight world champion, Figueroa picked up the WBA super bantamweight title against Damien Vazquez in 2020 and the WBC belt by stopping Luis Nery in 2021.
With his knockout power and past wins, he's definitely a challenge for Ball.
After losing to Stephen Fulton by decision, he jumped to featherweight, where he won the WBC Interim title against Mark Magsayo in 2023.
After another point loss to Fulton earlier in 2025, Figueroa bounced back with a win over Joet Gonzalez in July.
That's why the February 7 match should be a must-see featherweight fight of early 2026.
Frank Warren said:
“This fight is a great way to kick off 2026 and a great chance to see Liverpool boxing at its finest,” said promoter Frank Warren. “Nick Ball has turned into one of the sport's top young talents.
“Facing an American fighter like Figueroa in his hometown makes this a major event. Brandon is a real threat.
“Nick has what it takes to beat anyone in the division. This event also gives local fighters a chance to show what they can do.”
You can watch Nick Ball vs. Brandon Figueroa live and exclusively on DAZN on February 7.
CHRIS EUBANK JR'S LAST STAND: MANAGER SUGGESTS RETIREMENT AFTER HEALTH ISSUES CAUGHT UP
Chris Eubank Jr.'s manager has confirmed the star will retire if he doesn't fully recover from an undisclosed illness. He fought Conor Benn while "not at 100%."
Chris Eubank Jr.'s boxing days might be numbered, based on some concerning news he shared after his recent fight.
In November, Eubank took a beating from Conor Benn over 12 rounds, getting knocked down twice.
This was a total flip from their first match in April, where Eubank used his size and experience to win a clear points victory against Benn.
A lot of people think that at 36 years old, and after more than a decade as a pro, cutting down to 160 lbs and sticking to the 10 lb rehydration limit the morning of the fight was just too hard on him.
Speaking with Boxing King Media, Eubank's manager, Napper, addressed a video Eubank posted of himself in the hospital.
What's wrong with him? Chris doesn't want the public to know. He told [promoter Ben] Shalom to not say what's going on. He chose to fight because if you win, nobody cares, but if you lose, no excuses.
So, yeah, he wasn't at 100%, but he had the same issues in the first fight, just not as bad. He thought he could still win.
When asked about Eubank's future, he said, If he doesn't fully recover, he'll retire.
If this is the end of his time in the ring, Eubank has had a memorable career, including a world title fight against George Groves and important wins against James DeGale, Liam Smith, and Benn.
