But people talked about Guardiola's quick, sincere chat with Rodrygo after the game.
Guardiola told reporters, as Fabrizio Romano reported, that he told the Brazilian player, You’re an unbelievable player.
Is Man City still looking at Rodrygo?

Guardiola's kind words, while sincere, started transfer rumours, especially since Rodrygo was likely to move to City during the summer of 2025.

Benzema doesn't think Alonso can fix Real Madrid's issues. He thinks it's up to the players to turn things around.
“No, the coach can't do much. He picks the team and puts the best players out there. After that, it’s up to the players. If someone else is better, you have to accept it. The trouble is when players don't want to admit that someone else is scoring more goals. That's why you have problems when you have five or six great players together. Everyone brings something to the table, and in the end, the goalscorer tends to get more praise. But they still need the others! You can't do it all yourself.”
