After more than six months on the market, Phil Foden has finally been able to sell his opulent Cheshire home.
The property, which included five baths, an indoor pool, and a movie theatre, was purchased for about £3 million. This is a decrease from the £3.25 million asking price, though, and the house is now advertised as sold subject to contract.
Last year, 25-year-old Foden left the Cheshire home. He moved to a more remote rural residence that was nevertheless accessible by car from Manchester City's practice facility.
In addition, the four-bedroom property has a bar, a hot tub, and a gym. Meanwhile, there is a trampoline and a swing in the large lawn.
Along with his partner, Rebecca Cooke, and their three kids, Foden shared the house. According to The Mirror, another house in the same village that Foden formerly bought is also for sale.
The attacker purchased the home for his mother, who has now left after claiming to have been harassed by Manchester United fans.
The Daily Mail claims that Slade's Noddy Holder, antiques enthusiast David Dickinson, and the family of former Manchester City defender Kyle Walker, who own the nearby property, are among the notable neighbours.
Foden has earned a well-deserved recall to the England squad under Thomas Tuchel thanks to his outstanding performances for City this season.
In addition to playing the final 27 minutes of Sunday's 2-0 victory against Albania, he contributed significantly as a second-half substitute in Thursday night's 2-0 success over Serbia.
Harry Kane's two goals sealed the victory, which concluded England's perfect World Cup qualifying campaign. Foden played his first game for the Three Lions since helping the team defeat Latvia 3-0 in March in the match against Serbia.
He missed the ensuing matches due to injuries. When Pep Guardiola's revitalised Manchester City team travels to Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday, Foden is expected to make his comeback to the field.
ERLING HAALAND FINALLY HEADS TO WORLD CUP, HISTORY AWAITS NORWEGIAN SUPERSTAR
Erling Haaland ends his World Cup wait as Norway qualifies for the 2026 tournament. The prolific striker, with 16 goals in 8 qualifiers, will finally showcase his talent on football's biggest stage.
Erling Haaland ends notorious professional football travesty with bold statement
Drawing analogies to the reality that a player with Steven Gerrard's level of talent has never taken home a league championship. Alternatively, George Best never had the opportunity to demonstrate his brilliance at a World Cup.
Eric Cantona, Neville Southall, Ryan Giggs, and Alfredo Di Stefano did not either. The same tag has also been borne by Erling Haaland.
However, Haaland will finally have the opportunity to sing on the biggest stage of all thanks to the man himself. Additionally, his presence will make the North American tournament next summer much more lucrative.
The most deadly striker in world football is Haaland. And based on available data, he could end up becoming the all-time best goal scorer.
Every athlete aspires to compete in the World Cup, and Haaland has been no exception. That dream will now become a reality.
In eight Norwegian qualifying matches, the Manchester City sensation has scored 16 goals. He now leads the qualification campaign in scoring across all continents.
Haaland has suffered somewhat as a result of being Norwegian. This will be Norway's first big tournament since Euro 2000, and they have only ever advanced to three World Cups.
Before those finals ever began, Haaland was not even born. However, the pressure to change the course of contemporary history started as soon as it became clear that Haaland would be an exceptional player from a mediocre footballing nation.
Haaland declared, "I am thrilled, but more relieved," following Norway's World Cup qualification. "I sense a lot of strain and other things. However, it is enjoyable.
The task of trying to stop him in the group stages next summer will not be enjoyable for whoever the defenders are assigned to him. In his 48 international appearances, he has scored 55 goals.
He is the only player to score 50 goals with fewer than 50 caps in almost 50 years. It has been over a year since Haaland last failed to score for his nation in a match.
Haaland has also scored 32 goals in 20 appearances this season, including games for Manchester City. Just ponder these figures for a moment.
In addition, everyone who enjoys the game could have lived their entire lives without witnessing Haaland at the biggest turf display. Fortunately, justice has now been served.
ARSENAL SUFFERS KEY ABSENCE, MAN CITY AND PEP GUARDIOLA GAINS TITLE RACE
Manchester City's title hopes receive a potential boost as Arsenal's key defender Gabriel suffers an injury while on international duty with Brazil. His absence could be crucial in the tight Premier League race.

Over the international weekend, some injury news gave Manchester City a boost in the title race.
With a 3-0 victory against champions Liverpool last time out, Manchester City maintained their title ambitions and moved within four points of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta's team has not won anything yet, and there are still 27 games left in this title race, including a matchup with the Gunners at the Etihad in April.
In 2022–2023—when Arsenal dominated the top flight for most of the season before losing to the eventual Treble winners—Arteta gave up the championship for the first time to Guardiola.
William Saliba's injury was a major factor in the Gunners' defeat that season, and City supporters will be hoping that the north London leaders' recent injury woes can turn the tide of their season in the Cityzens' favour once more.
As Gabriel leaves for Brazil due to injury, Arsenal loses.
When Gabriel, a crucial player for his native Brazil, was injured in the 64th minute of a friendly match against Senegal, Arsenal suffered a serious setback. The Selecao had already qualified for the World Cup. Arteta would be quite concerned if the 27-year-old were to miss time on the field because of the consequences of a friendly, but City would benefit greatly from it.
Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Brazil, remarked just after the game: "Bad? I am not sure; the medical staff has to inspect his adductor tomorrow," Ancelotti told football.london. "We sincerely apologise and are very unhappy. I hope that those who sustain injuries can heal quickly."
Ancelotti's apologies suggest a recognition that Gabriel's injury might not be as serious as it seems. In the upcoming days, supporters of both City and Arsenal will be anxiously awaiting the findings of medical examinations, though obviously for different reasons. Gabriel is undoubtedly a vital member of Arsenal's formidable defence and, in both positions, one of the few players in their starting lineup that would be difficult to replace.
Gabriel, a "leader," would be much missed by the Gunners as City attempts to contend for the championship.
In recent years, Gabriel has advanced significantly, becoming an indispensable member of Arteta's team and a role model on the field. The real standout feature of his game is his contributions in both penalty areas, especially as the Gunners improve their set-piece and corner play.
On The Game Football Podcast in August, Tony Cascarino stated about Gabriel: "Well, I think, Gabriel's enormous." Due to his size, they need him back for Arsenal. Gabriel is huge for them, in my opinion, since he is that kind of captain and leader. Even though he is not the captain, he acts like one.
This could be the ideal chance for City to get a run of results to take the lead in the title race before Christmas if Gabriel is sidelined for the Gunners' important upcoming games against teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Aston Villa. We know from past seasons that once Guardiola's team gets a run together and is in full flow, they can be very hard to stop.
