During the international break, Lisandro Martinez, a defender for Manchester United, will practice with the Argentina national team.

Martinez's recuperation from an anterior cruciate ligament injury is now complete. By the end of October, he was back to full training at Carrington, but he was not prepared to play in Premier League matchday squads against Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.

Martinez, 27, will join his national team for a training camp in Europe to increase his fitness, although Lionel Scaloni decided not to include him in Argentina's squad for the forthcoming internationals.

Because they think the centre-back will gain from competitive training sessions during the international break, United has approved Martinez's training with Argentina.

Martinez will be supported by a member of United's performance team and will not participate in games.

"He wants to go to this one [Forest], he is not going to this one," Amorim clarified before United's trip to Nottingham Forest. He will require time. Although we had to make some adjustments to his activities, he has begun training with us and will gradually improve.

"It is excellent. In every training session, he offers us that advantage, which is also very beneficial to us. One day, we will have the other males. The others are fit, but I am not sure about Harry Maguire."

Martinez is anticipated to contend with Luke Shaw for a starting position upon his return, as Shaw has started every Premier League game this season on the left side of the back three.

"When you have that injury, you have that time where you recover a lot of things extremely hard, then there is the boring part where it looks like you do not get to the next step," Amorim recently said in reference to Martinez's absence.

"We miss a much." We miss Licha's aggressiveness in all he does, especially right now. However, he consistently attends all meetings. He occasionally completes his training and remains to observe the instruction. Licha is essential to this team.

Martinez, who is currently in his fourth season at Manchester, made 32 appearances across all competitions last season.

RUBEN AMORIM REACTS TO BENJAMIN SESKO QUESTION AFTER TENSE PRESSER

With Benjamin Sesko injured and AFCON departures looming, Man Utd's January plans are in flux. Experts suggest a new midfielder is a more pressing need than an expensive striker signing.

Concerns about Benjamin Sesko's injuries have led to suggestions that Manchester United should concentrate on other parts of the team instead of spending a lot of money on a new striker this month. After barely entering the game just before the hour mark, the Slovenian forward was forced off after 85 minutes after taking a hit during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Tottenham.

Later, Ruben Amorim revealed to reporters that Sesko's knee was injured. "We must verify. "Let us look," the United manager remarked, "he had something in his knee."

"I do not know. We never know because it is the knee. Since it is in the knee and I am not sure, I am more worried about getting hurt. Ben has to improve as a team member.

The setback has clearly shifted United's focus to the January transfer window, as the team may need upfront reinforcements if Sesko is down for an extended period of time.

Amorim will also miss Bryan Mbeumo, Amad, and Noussair Mazraoui due to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) next month, which will further compound the setback.

Amorim went on, "We have to verify everything, we have to check what has happened with Ben." "We previously understood that we would have an issue there [with AFCON], of course.

"But let us see if we can strengthen the squad and attempt to prepare something that happened when the window is open. We must bear the risk until then.

Journalist Jonathan Northcroft discussed the matter on Sky Sports' Sunday Supplement, stating that United should concentrate on strengthening their midfield options because adding a new striker would be "expensive."

"I was in the press conference and [Ruben] Amorim was asked about Sesko's injuries as he was leaving the room, so he did not have time to provide a thorough answer," he further disclosed. And he just responded, "I am worried," as anything can happen when it is the knee.

In his news conference, Amorim said that the team may purchase "additional midfielders." Northcroft asserted that this would be "more pressing" for them than acquiring a new attacker.

He continued by explaining that midfield has been at the heart of United's long-standing problems "for years," calling the state of affairs "substandard."

BENJAMIN SESKO HEALTH NEWS OUT — MAN UTD NERVES INTENSIFY NOW

Man Utd's £73.7m striker Benjamin Sesko undergoes first medical after knee injury vs Tottenham. Early signs are 'encouraging' but an MRI scan is pending as manager Ruben Amorim voices his concern.

According to Slovenian media, Benjamin Sesko, a striker for Manchester United, has had his first medical examination about the knee knock he received during Saturday's draw with Tottenham. After being challenged by Micky van de Ven, the £73.7 million summer transfer only played 30 minutes on the field after being brought on for United in the 58th minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

After treatment, Sesko headed directly into the tunnel, and United manager Ruben Amorim acknowledged his concerns about the situation. He said, "I have no idea," in response to a question about whether it might be a significant issue. We never know because it is the knee.

"Being in the knee, I am worried about the injuries. Ben has to improve as a team member. We need to investigate everything, including Ben's situation."

Slovenian media sites have stated that the first signs are encouraging after the draw in the capital, according to the Manchester Evening News. According to Sportklub, the forward has finished his initial medical evaluation about his knee pain, and the results are "encouraging."

Early indications are positive, according to the article, but an MRI scan is scheduled for a more thorough examination. Joshua Zirkzee has been having trouble earning opportunities under Amorim; therefore, United has been linked to a new centre-forward in recent weeks.

Amorim was asked if a possible stint on the sidelines for Sesko would have an impact on United's transfer strategy. "We already knew," he replied, "but of course we are going to have an issue there [with AFCON]."

Because there is only one game per week, many players will not play during the summer, even if they can prepare for it. Therefore, handling that circumstance will be challenging.

"But let us see if we can strengthen the squad and attempt to prepare something that happened when the window is open. We must bear the risk until then.

After being sent off in the second half, Harry Maguire also seemed to have suffered a hamstring injury. After an hour, the TNT Sports commentary noticed the England international battling with the problem.

Amorim remarked, "You have to overcome everything when we have to take out Maguire and Casemiro at the same time, then suffer two goals, then lose Ben."
