FC AUGSBURG PUT FAITH IN SANDRO WAGNER TO REVERSE SLUMP

Despite just three wins this season, FC Augsburg's hierarchy has given coach Sandro Wagner their full backing. His job is safe even with a loss to Dortmund, with the club planning winter signings to address their struggling attack.

Despite their recent bad performance, FCA has fully endorsed the young coach.

Sandro Wagner is still fully trusted by FC Augsburg and the club's management, according to Sky Germany.

The 37-year-old coach, who took over in the summer, has the support of the Bavarian club's leadership, notably Michael Ströll and Benjamin Weber.

His removal is not being considered, even if they lose to Borussia Dortmund tomorrow night.

Wagner is still viewed favourably by the team and the organisation, and new players are anticipated during the winter transfer window.

Attacking has been one of Augsburg's issues; in January, a new striker was identified as the primary priority.

Wagner has only managed to win three games thus far, with one tie and six losses in all competitions.

LEEDS UNITED PLOT JANUARY SHOCKER TO DISRUPT LAMPARD’S PLANS

Leeds United are targeting a January move for Coventry City's USMNT striker Haji Wright. With 8 goals this season, Wright is on the radar as Daniel Farke looks to bolster his attack, with Norwich's Josh Sargent also a potential option.

As November draws near, Leeds United will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on January deals, and Daniel Farke is rumoured to be interested in Coventry City star Haji Wright.

If you were to identify any problems with Leeds' current struggle to remain in the Premier League, you would most likely point to the attack.

It is impressive to score nine goals in nine games. Leeds is ranked 11th for xG (11.5) and eighth for big chances (20). Nonetheless, both originality and completion could use some work.

Ahead of the January transfer window, Leeds United is planning to acquire Coventry City star Haji Wright.
There will already be work being done to set goals if Leeds decides to use the January window to make attacking additions.

Haji Wright, the standout striker for Coventry City, has reportedly come into the club's sights this month, according to Leeds United News.

This season, the 27-year-old attacker for the USMNT has been playing well. He has already scored eight goals for Frank Lampard's team in 11 Championship games. Wright has made 84 appearances since joining the Sky Blues and scored 36 league goals.

When Coventry plays Wrexham on Friday night, they have an opportunity to momentarily increase their lead at the top of the league to six points.

Leeds United is also thinking about Norwich City, and Daniel Farke and Josh Sargent are getting back together. Wright is not the only American player in the Championship who is reportedly being targeted. Josh Sargent of Norwich City has long been a target, according to the article.

Sargent, 25, scored five goals in his first four games of the season, but he has not scored since, as Liam Manning is under a lot of pressure. After 12 games, Farke's old team is in the Championship relegation zone.

With a deal that runs until the summer of 2028, the Canaries striker has been with the team since Farke's last summer window at Carrow Road.

Does Leeds United's survival attempt require the signing of a Championship striker?
For finishing in the penalty area, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has received a lot of criticism. Would a Championship signing, however, have such a significant impact?

In comparison to their influence on our performances, Wright and Sargent would both be extremely expensive, and that money would be better spent elsewhere.

We need a right-winger who can provide goals and much more inventiveness. For instance, if a player of Wright's calibre costs £20 million, the money would be better spent on a winger who can start on the right.

Both of them are capable players who would provide us with depth, but we require more than simply solid choices.

EMANUEL EMEGHA’S RETURN DELAYED AS INJURY SIDELINES HIM FOR WEEKS

Joaquin Panichelli's hot streak continues, scoring his 9th Ligue 1 goal for Strasbourg. The Argentine is filling the void left by injured captain Emanuel Emegha, who is now not expected back until the RC Lens match in late November.

For RC Strasbourg Alsace, Joaquin Panichelli keeps scoring goals. Since moving to Alsace in the summer, the Argentine has now scored nine goals in Ligue 1. His most recent victory over AJ Auxerre was 3-0 on Wednesday.

Due to his recent success, Strasbourg does not lack club captain Emanuel Emegha. Since his transfer to Chelsea was officially announced at the beginning of September, the Dutchman has scarcely played. A hamstring injury sustained during the match against Olympique de Marseille one month ago is still plaguing the centre-forward. He has now sustained two injuries this season.

Furthermore, according to a source from L'Équipe, Emegha will not be making a comeback anytime soon. We will have to wait until possibly November 22nd and a match against RC Lens before he returns to Le Racing, since the publication is aware that we will not see him before the November international break.
