The crossroads match between Joshua Pagan and Maliek Montgomery has been rescheduled to Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Montgomery weighed 132.4 pounds, which was less than the 135-pound lightweight limit, while Pagan weighed 134.6 pounds.

The maturity Najee Lopez displayed in the ring on Saturday night impressed Paulie.

With a record of 13-0 (4 KOs), Pagan comes into the fight looking to establish himself as a rising star. Pagan's victories over veteran Haskell Rhodes and undefeated Roger Hilley are noteworthy. Pagan, a 25-year-old from Grand Rapids, Michigan, has fought at or near the lightweight limit for most of his career. His most recent bout was in June, when he defeated James Bernadin via unanimous decision.

Montgomery, who is 20-1 (18 KOs), is coming off his first career defeat at the hands of Jeremy Hill. Montgomery has fought at junior lightweight for most of his career, but he has also competed at lightweight. Montgomery, 30, of Macon, Georgia, lost both of his fights against Sakaria Lukas and Hill because he was unable to make weight.

IT'S HAPPENING: TYSON FURY VS ANTHONY JOSHUA MEGA-FIGHT LINED UP FOR RIYADH SEASON 2026

The long-awaited Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua mega-fight is reportedly scheduled for a Riyadh Season show in 2026. Fury must first exit retirement.

Fury vs Joshua Confirmed to Headline Riyadh Mega-Event

Reports say Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are finally going to fight in 2026 in a huge event.

This all-British fight between the two former heavyweight champions has been talked about for years, but it's never happened, even with all the discussions and rumors.

But now, it's being reported that Fury versus Joshua will be the main event at a Riyadh Season show next year. The date and location are still to be decided.

The Ring Magazine, which is owned by the head of Riyadh Season, Turki Alalshikh, said that sources told them the fight between Fury and Joshua will be at a Riyadh Season show in 2026.

Before that, both Fury and Joshua are expected to have separate fights as part of next year’s Riyadh Season.

For this plan to work, Fury would have to officially come out of retirement. He said he was retiring in January, not long after losing to Oleksandr Usyk in Riyadh.

He has hinted at a comeback, writing on social media that the king must return to his throne and that after the long, & hard battles awaits immortality!”

Joshua is going to fight Jake Paul, a YouTuber who became a boxer, in Miami on Netflix. It will be an eight-round professional fight. This is his first fight since Daniel Dubois knocked him out in September 2024.

He is replacing Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis because his own comeback was delayed by an elbow injury that needed surgery.

Paul made Joshua a huge offer, so Joshua changed his plans. Eddie Hearn said that Joshua had agreed to fight Cassius Chaney in Riyadh on November 22.

September 2026 is likely when Fury and Joshua will fight. Turki Alalshikh teased that the fight would happen in London that month.

He also said that Joshua would fight in Saudi Arabia in February. His last fight there was against Francis Ngannou in March 2024.

Even though neither fighter has any world titles, Fury versus Joshua is still seen as one of the biggest fights in boxing.

Analysing Ball's Biggest Test on February 7

Nick 'The Wrecking' Ball will defend his WBA featherweight title against Brandon 'The Heartbreaker' Figueroa on Saturday, February 7.

Back at his favourite M&&SBank Arena in Liverpool, Ball will be fighting to keep his unbeaten record intact on his home turf.

After grabbing the belt from Raymond Ford in June 2024 in Riyadh, the 28-year-old Ball has had some great title defences against Ronny Rios, TJ Doheny, and recently, Sam Goodman. His record stands at 23-0-1 (13 KOs).

This February 7 fight marks his third world title fight in his hometown, and you can catch all the action live and only on DAZN.

The WBA featherweight title defence against Brandon Figueroa is a big test and an opportunity for Ball to continue establishing himself as one of boxing's best up-and-coming stars.

Figueroa is bringing a lot to the table.

Brandon Figueroa, also 28, is coming from Weslaco, Texas, and his professional record is 26-2-1 (19 KOs).

A former two-weight world champion, Figueroa picked up the WBA super bantamweight title against Damien Vazquez in 2020 and the WBC belt by stopping Luis Nery in 2021.

With his knockout power and past wins, he's definitely a challenge for Ball.

After losing to Stephen Fulton by decision, he jumped to featherweight, where he won the WBC Interim title against Mark Magsayo in 2023.

After another point loss to Fulton earlier in 2025, Figueroa bounced back with a win over Joet Gonzalez in July.

That's why the February 7 match should be a must-see featherweight fight of early 2026.

Frank Warren said:

“This fight is a great way to kick off 2026 and a great chance to see Liverpool boxing at its finest,” said promoter Frank Warren. “Nick Ball has turned into one of the sport's top young talents.

“Facing an American fighter like Figueroa in his hometown makes this a major event. Brandon is a real threat.

“Nick has what it takes to beat anyone in the division. This event also gives local fighters a chance to show what they can do.”

You can watch Nick Ball vs. Brandon Figueroa live and exclusively on DAZN on February 7.
