Furthermore, I was sure that I would play if all went well. That has always been the case. If you ultimately decide you want to stay after signing a contract, you do. I was not scared because of this.
When asked about his thoughts on the part the media played in his protracted transfer drama, De Jong once more attacked individuals who joyfully reported about his pay without doing any research.
