BRUNO FERNANDES COULD QUIT UNITED AS SHOCK PLAN EMERGES

Bruno Fernandes is open to leaving Man Utd for a top European league next summer, not Saudi Arabia. Reports suggest Bayern Munich are interested, and United would replace him with a central midfielder.

Manchester United's plan to replace Bruno Fernandes, who "will be open" to leaving the team next summer, is not what you may anticipate.

Although the 31-year-old Fernandes is still being linked to a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, he is not really interested in playing in the SPL.

A number of the PIF-supported squads are prepared to relocate to Fernandes at any time. But according to the BBC and the Daily Mail, Fernandes has other plans if he decides to leave the Red Devils.

He is considering a move to one of the major leagues in Europe, including La Liga, Serie A, or the Bundesliga. Although Fernandes has played for two Serie A teams in the past, neither Udinese nor Sampdoria has been very successful in Italy. At the moment, Sampdoria is not even in the first level.

Reporters Chris Wheeler and Nathan Salt were asked in a recent Mail Q&A if Fernandes' current campaign would be his final one wearing a United shirt.

As long as the offers are from reputable European teams rather than Saudi ones, the two stated that Fernandes "will be open" to moving on.

"After the season, Fernandes will evaluate his future and be open to relocating to one of Europe's other major leagues," the reporters retorted.

After six and a half years at United, he will turn 31 and prepare to participate in what is probably going to be his final World Cup for Portugal.

"United would undoubtedly want to pocket as much money as possible for a player whose contract expires in June 2027, even if the club has the option to extend the term by another 12 months." "He may seek a fresh challenge."

Possible Bayern Munich and the Man Utd replacement plan

If Fernandes decides to switch teams next summer, Transfer Insider Dean Jones has been told that Bayern Munich is a team to keep an eye on.

Jones also emphasised that £40 million is a reasonable transfer cost, which may seem modest for a player of Fernandes' calibre.

When considering the possibility, it is crucial to keep in mind that Fernandes will be one year away from free agency and will be approaching his 32nd birthday next summer.

The Mail reporters emphasised that a central midfielder, not a playmaker, would be the player Manchester United would recruit to replace Fernandes.

Both Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha currently fill the No. 10 position that Fernandes once held for United. Amad Diallo and Mason Mount are also good choices for those roles.

As a result, Manchester United will sign a central midfielder to replace one of their best forwards ever.

"You might say that United has already signed two, in Mbeumo and Cunha, in terms of a successor," the journalists continued.

"Fernandes is most suited as a No. 10 in Amorim's 3-4-2-1 lineup, but he has not been as productive this season after having to move deeper into midfield to make room for the two new additions.

"A central midfielder would actually be Fernandes' replacement because United also has Mason Mount and Amad Diallo to play at No 10."

DISCIPLINARY BLOW: MADRID PLAYER SUSPENDED POST EL CLáSICO TUSSLE

Real Madrid's backup keeper Andriy Lunin has been handed a one-game suspension by the RFEF for his aggressive conduct on the bench during the heated final moments of El Clásico. Real Madrid's appeal was rejected.

Los Blancos' goalie Andriy Lunin has been suspended for one game by the RFEF Disciplinary Committee for his involvement in the sideline dramas during the El Clásico's final moments. Although the cameras did not catch it, referee Soto Grado did record that he had sent the Ukrainian off.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the RFEF responded as follows when asked why Lunin received a red card.

The reason for Lunin, Andrii's expulsion in the 90th minute was that he had to be restrained by his teammates after he walked aggressively from his bench to the blonde bench.

"When considered significant, those whose behaviour violates sporting order will be suspended for four to ten games or fined between 602 and 3,006 euros."

Because of Lunin's actions, which constituted a minor violation of the sporting order, he was suspended for one game. The ruling had been challenged by Real Madrid. However, the RFEF stayed steadfast, defending the referee's ruling and the evidence in the match report and on film.

Now, the backup goalie will not play against Valencia this weekend, where he is probably going to be benched. Fran Gonzalez and Sunico, both from the youth team, might be called up as the matchday squad's third choice, with Sergio Mestre serving as a backup.

No Barcelona players or any other Real Madrid players were slapped with bans following the two flash moments in the closing stages of the game. When Vinicius Jr. and Lamie Yamal argued, even players who were not on the team were spotted shoving on the side of the field. The RFEF, however, determined that nothing that came to pass would justify further prohibitions.

According to Bukayo Saka, it is feasible for Arsenal and England to win both games this season. The season has started well for the Gunners under Mikel Arteta's leadership.

Arsenal leads the Premier League standings by four points at the moment and is starting to look like a title contender. Manchester City is only one point ahead of defending champions Liverpool, who are seven points behind.

Saka, however, is not only interested in winning at his club; he also hopes to succeed internationally. Manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that winning the trophy is his ambition for England, who have qualified for the World Cup in the USA next year.

Saka is optimistic about his club's and his nation's chances of winning. "Yeah, that is my prayer," he remarked in an interview with Sky Sports. It is possible, of course.
